S/S 2015 Fashion Trends!

Good morning beautiful people!

Hello there! Got a cuppa tea? Good, Lest begin!

I love spring, it's a lovely time of year, that and the fact it's my birthday around this time of year!
I've chosen a few items from my favourite websites & with a bit of inspiration from the internet I've compiled all of it together in this post! Get ready to click & scroll! The items I've linked are in a different colour!

Trends of S/S2015;

Hippie-70s, and floral (obvious one) & colour (plenty of this too) 
white/beige & the double denim (the Kardashian fave)

Think flares, mega heels, suede, denim- lots of it! This is a hard trend and I think unless you're willing to go all the way with it it's a hard trend to get, but a few pieces of the trend is also a really good way of doing it right! Floral is the ultimate statement for spring & summer, with festival seasons coming up! It's got textures, colour & mega safe wearabilty! 

A bag, a top, a dress, hair accessories, it's so easy to get the trend right! Not many people like to opt for this trend as it comes back EVERY SINGLE YEAR! But one of the ways it can look different is the cuts and actual colour spectrum differences. It's also so easy to get it wrong by adding too much or even adding in the wrong colours to an outfit... 
Get your mum or your nan to give you their clothes! Bonus points for actual vintage!

white t-bar platform heels , 70's Floral print trousers , Dark blue flared denim jeans , Floral maxi kimono Coral vest , Paisley shirt/top

Colour is also an obvious one, neon colours come back with a vengeance in this season, there's not a lot you can do with this one apart from pick out the colours you like and wear it like you own it (because you DO - sexy beasty, you!) Personally I think adding pops of colour is more effective than going in one, but having said that, all white or all black is a reoccurring trend now!!
Here's my quick picks;

yellow backpack  , Ankle grazer trousers , Butterfly playsuit , lime colour vest , Laser cutout pink crop top , yellow textured shorts 

Whites & Beige are a favourite at the moment as well as the all 'black everything' style. It's a clear winner for the Kardashian women & plenty women all over the internet. It screams luxury, simplicity & modern classic. Adding the camel coat, matching bag and the smallest strap heels seem to be a clear winner! Its the type of style that is beyond easy to get right. 
Here's my quick picks;

Camel coat, camel double zip skirt, camel & white polo jumper Blush wrap skirt , pencil skirt , 3/4 sleeve blazer , cream and white cross-body bag , barely there heels , white shift dress ,

Double denim, love it or hate it, it's going to be here for a while. Think skirts & shirts or light and dark denim. This is also a winner all over! It's impossible to get wrong as well. If you're chic and trendy keep it to the minials and have the light denim shirt and the mid-rise mid-wash skinny jeans... If you're style is a little more off cut, then the baggy shirt and the oversize items are also a good one to go for. 
Alexa Chung loves her double denim. Here's my quick picks;

Acid wash denim shirt-dress  , denim jumpsuit , Distressed skinny jeans , Mid wash girlfriend jeans , sleeveless heart print shirt , crop denim shirt

Again I've watched Jarmaine ever since I got YT, she's funny, a bit of everything - mostly she's always going through things which always makes you keep watching, she finds it very hard to express herself, but with YT it's like she's become a better person and she will always try to do her best to keep spirits up with her humour - I love her advice videos!

Sam is so beautiful, I have to admit I LOVE her styling videos more than anything else she posts!

Same as Patricia, stylish, funny, easy to watch, great DIY videos, I look up to her quite a lot!

Sayeh Sharelo; Sayeh Sharelo
AMAZING! Style videos & tutorials are BOMB! She's got a quirky style that alternates from hip-hip/street fashion & into amazingly current, and super girly! I love everything about her style.

SuperHeroFitnessTV; Keaira LaShae
I love her techniques of how to work out, they WORK! I've done several of the exercise videos & they're short, to the point & easy to follow - just gotta find the time & motivation!! Haha!

Kingsley; Kingsley
Just wow, I've been sat for hours sometimes cry-laughing at his videos, his opinion on things is just unbelieveable. So watchable I always thumbs up his videos!

Its been pretty much 2 years since I've posted and updated on my blog here! :'( 
I'm sorry, I felt like I ended on bad terms.. Here's a throw back post of what happened while I wasn't posting...

!!!WARNING LOTS OF PICTURES AND PARAGRAPHS!!!

 2013- As you may or may not know I added a little wonder in my life - Rory the Ragdoll, he's the cutest lil thing ever! We got him just after my Dad passed away in 2012 Christmas time, so having him in my life was amazing & he continues to smoosh my heart with his cuteness!

I was working (and still am) in the oriental FoodStore & consequently I started making not only OOTD videos I added Ellie Eats... Videos showing and promoting different snacks from all over the world that I've tried and more importantly my opinion and first hand showing these items via YouTube! I had really good views on those videos and I admit I have been slacking again on those videos but none the less I have been working hard as well as trying to keep hold of my YouTube status. I went to 2 weddings and plenty of parties in this year - pics to come.
I also added Tumblr into my world.... OH MY GOD!! I cannot believe I didn't have it in my life before, it's like full of opinions and amazing people, and pictures & I can cheer myself up to no end on there, it's like a completely different world for everyone, it's filled with inspiration and everyone is trying to HELP one another not put each other down, there's an on going joke that people mostly find out information and facts via Tumblr 'so they must be true' kind of attitude. Kinda funny! So I re-blog pictures and add my own & I also keep up to date with my YouTube there just by adding the links from my page on to my Tumblr.
It's SUPER convenient I think that's why I neglected my Blog for so long, it's no longer as relevant as is has been & It's so nice to see all the people I used to read STILL post on here! Its awesome <3

I was then living at my mums and part-time living with my boyfriend -who I did break up with then got back together with - 5 years on 15th Feb! CRAZY! So we had Rory and we had a flat to share & it was so easy to get up and go to work. I continued to post on YouTube!
2014- In the summer of 2014 I added weekly Vlogs into my life, I had been inspired so much  by the people I was watching religiously, I ended up filming myself, I still am, and am trying to get better at it, at the moment it's a bit long and a think people are finding them boring, so hopefully I can do better!

I turned 21!!! I had a joint birthday party with my sister as she was turning 30! We're born 9 years apart but by 3 days, so it made sense to have a huge party for the 2 of us! 

We also then by the end of September 2014 moved into our first house - still rented but still able to make it our own, here's a sneak peak of how it used to look before we moved in..

So I STILL work in the foodstore, I'm still with my boyfriend and STILL making YouTube videos, Nothing will change on that!
In November 2014 I got a new phone Nokia Lumia 530. What a beast of a phone I was OBSESSED with it! I also then added Instagram into my life. HOLY CRAP! I'm so glad I held out so long before joining - It's ADDICTIVE!!

Annnnnnnnd that's pretty much it! I can't think of anymore things to add right now, but I will do throw back posts if I think of anything I missed out!

I feel like this time in my life is now precious as I have been with my boyfriend for 5 years! That's world record stuff by comparison to everyone else' relationships... Now that we have a house & car and a cat & adult things going on, it makes so much sense to spend the rest of our lives together & hear the pitter patter of little cat & baby feet... We're wanting to expand our love for one another and I hope I can continue to update and share as much as possible when the time comes (I'm NOT pregnant and engaged yet- but we're working on it - secretly... Until we're 100% happy!) I can't wait to record everything and just share my next chapter in life, I suppose that's what this post is about. Growing up, change & the next part in life.
